Let's shop

We all got to buy food, clothes, life's necessities..... Well, I usually do mine down Holderness road, or as it's affectionately known by East Hull residents - on't road.

Took some rather mundane snaps this evening after finishing work, mucked about with the images, like you do and 'hey presto'. Hopefully, I've captured some of the life, energy, grit and 'dogged determination' of your typical working class area of a 'Town In The North Of England' as the 'Home Service' of the BBC used to say in their daily radio broadcasts during the 'Blitz', when Hull was being bombed the shite out of.

You captured the grittiness well!
Went on't road today and as they say in the newspapers...all human life was there!

I think you're showing your age there :)

Nice pics, as ever.

Well, it was my ma who told me about that........my excuse, I'm only 27 really.......
