The east coast, fish and chips and Easter '88

The weather this weekend has been atrocious, but that being said, the prodigious amounts of snow we had on Friday didn't settle thankfully. To celebrate the fact that I'm warm and snug at home in my garrett I'm posting some images from my 'divine archive' just to prove that despite the elements, global warming etc.... it's not that long before Spring.

Images taken in Whitby, Good Friday 1988. If memory serves me it was a lovely day / weekend.

Whitby is the place for the finest fish and chips on the east coast. That's a fact as far as I'm concerned. Bon appetite.

Oh, I'd like to be out on one of those little boats -- a red one, I think!

It already feels like spring, here. We've had very little cold weather, and yesterday, broke a record for heat (85F)!

Stay warm, John -- I'll try to stay cool!
