My favourite industrial area of Hull
Yesterday evening, before I went bowling, I had a walk into town via Bankside, where I took these images with my 'point ,n shoot'. It's a favourite area of mine, not really sure why, possibly because it's close to the place I was born (Witham) and it's nostalgia thing with me, or because despite the apparent dereliction in this area, there's so much still going on?
There are a lot of pubs in the town side of Bankside, the Bay Horse is one (I've never had a pint here, will have to remedy this some time) and the Whalebone, which I've frequented numerous times and is a firm favourite with me because of the range of beers and it's full of photographs that document Hull's, and in particular this part of Hull's recent history.
