A massive obelisk?

This has to be in the top 3 of Hull's tallest buildings, especially now all the big cooling towers are being pulled down. More industrial might, or eyesore, depending on your point of view. Don't know what it is, but suspect it's a ruddy great grain silo. Come on boys 'n girls, those in the know give me some feedback.

The rather impressive errr obelisk is indeed a grain silo.
Its also a listed building and site of a couple of deaths during its years when grain dust exploded (dont ask me how dust explodes, apparently it sometimes just does) Bugger, I better get mi Mr Sheen out before my house vapourises!

Another fine image John!

I like your skyscrapers! Most people won't notice them, because they don't look up in the sky...
